Rockstar Quilt Pattern
It’s pattern release day! Say hello to the newest member of our pattern library, the Rockstar Quilt. This pattern was originally designed to celebrate Audrey’s “Celestial” fabric line for Phoebe Fabrics, but we think that it also stands on its own as a versatile quilt pattern.

Enough of that, let’s talk more about this quilt! Rockstar is a square quilt measuring 72″ x 72″. It uses five different fabrics and a background color to make the quilt. The layout is almost a medallion, with the colors radiating from the center, but it’s still block-based construction.
This quilt pattern is great for flying geese skill building, as it makes use of two different methods: no-waste and stitch-and-flip. We think you will also love learning how to make the floating diamond blocks. We developed that one ourselves!
We had a wonderful batch of quilters test this pattern to make sure everything was working correctly. Check out their awesome quilts:

If you visit our tester roundup posts one and two on Instagram, you can find the individual makers tagged in each photo. It’s so fun to see how differently each quilt turns out!
Audrey made this sample with Celestial prints and Moda’s Zen Gray as the background color. Cami Groethe quilted it for us with a pantograph called Waves.
We had fun designing Rockstar, Halo Stars, and Double Dip Twist for the Celestial collection. Audrey’s next fabric line, Bird & Bloom, comes to quilt shops in September, so now we will begin working on quilts for that! Any questions? Just leave us a comment below.
