Poppy Dress

I spent the free time I had last weekend sewing up this Poppy Dress from Sew Like My Mom.  Melissa was in a bind with the final stages of pattern testing, so I whipped this out for her to make sure everything worked right.  What a cute dress!  There were so many options with this dress: three sleeve lengths and dress or shirt.  The dress has pockets, which are perfect for a little girl on the go.

I used a mustard yellow polka dot from my stash for the dress, and I made the bias using leftover gray dots from the famous zig zag quilt.  Wouldn’t this look cute in our grays and yellows from Riley Blake?  I am definitely going to be sewing up more of these.  This is one pattern you’ll want to watch for!
