Pineapple Porch Pillow
Summer is in full swing, and Diane’s porch pillow is done in time to enjoy it! The pineapple center is a twin to the mini block we shared a while ago. This shows how different a block can look, even using the same fabrics.
The pieced envelope back shows off some fun prints from ADORNit’s Flamingo Fever fabric line. We especially love the Bloom Trim fabric that creates a ribbon look.
All of our porch pillows are 16″ x 26″. The IKEA down pillow inserts are a perfect match.
For the borders on the front of the pillow, we used Lizzy House’s Pearl Bracelets in Meyer Lemon, ADORNit’s Bloom Trim, Chica Blooms, and Pineapple Turnover Golden. We also used more of the black cross weave from the pineapple’s background.
So happy to have this finished and be able to use these bright and cheerful fabrics to greet our guests while we sip a cool drink.
So very sweet. Also looks like a great way to use up some scraps in making the pillow part. Love the pineapple; made one earlier this summer.
Yes, it’s definitely a great way to use up scraps!
This is just lovely! It has given me an idea for a gift down the road, also.
