Glamping Star Farm Quilt

Diane’s version of our Star Farm Quilt seems like a seasonal fit for this time of year when summer turns to fall.  The gold and brown prints are mixed in with the still-bright reds, blues, and pinks.This is also the lap size, like the Wonderland version we showed you a couple of weeks ago.We love this perfectly blue background.  It’s Moda’s Bella Solid called Blue Chill.  We couldn’t believe how well it matched this line!On this little matching patchwork pillow, you can see that we used 12 weight thread for a bolder quilted look.  It fits in your regular machine and is a fun break from the ordinary. This fabric line is called Glamping, by MaryJane Butters.  It was one of the first fabric lines that we carried, and Diane has been hoarding a fat quarter pack since our very first Quilt Market.  This is a special quilt to break into that stash! For the quilting, we used a pantograph design called “He Loves Me” by Anne Bright.We used Milk Wildflowers from the Farm Fun fabric line for the backing, which you can see peeking out in the photo below.  How perfect is that?  It’s like it was meant to be.This quilt and pillow combo makes us want to hang out on the porch and enjoy the last little drops of summer!  You can find our Star Farm Quilt pattern right here on our website.  Our PDF patterns are always available for immediate download, plus our paper patterns are now in stock and ready to ship.
