Candy Shoppe Quilt Along Week 5: Quilt and Bind

Can you believe it’s the last week of our Candy Shoppe Quilt Along?  We hope you’ve enjoyed quilting with us as much as we have loved seeing your lovely quilts take shape!  This week is actually a final three weeks, to give you plenty of time to get your pieced top quilted and bound. 

This is Cami’s sweet setup, using her Juki machine and Grace Company quilting frame.  She throws down a mean meandering loop!

Once your quilt sandwich is all quilted up, trim the sides and bind.  You can use leftover jelly roll strips for a scrappy binding, if you have some lying around.

Isn’t it gorgeous?  The overall pattern really pops against a contrasting background.

Mmm, we love some good, quilty texture!
