Axis Quilt

Guys, we have another brand new Craftsy quilt kit to show you!  Can you believe how many new patterns we’ve been working on behind the scenes?  This is one of our favorites so far.  It’s called the Axis Quilt (affiliate link*) and it uses the Lily & Loom Modern Hand Drawn fabric line (aff.*).We have absolutely loved developing these quilt kits with Craftsy (aff.*).  The patterns go through months of work, and since we make each quilt it’s apparent if the pattern will work out correctly.  We actually do that with all of our patterns, not just the ones destined to be Craftsy exclusives!We designed this pattern to have lots of movement, like the fabric prints.  Since it’s also a rather large quilt, 88″ x 90″, we wanted to make the piecing as easy as possible, so it’s assembled in blocks.The Violet Patchwork print (aff.*) makes the perfect backing! 

We quilted this using a pantograph pattern, designed by Anne Bright, called Champagne.

The exciting thing about this quilt pattern is that it’s available in three different colorways!  We made the Pop Art version (aff.*), but you can also go cool with the Landscape version (aff.*):

As usual, the Axis Quilt pattern (aff.*) is exclusive to the Craftsy kit for a few months.  We hope you like what we’ve been coming up with and haven’t been able to talk about!  We know that it looks like we’re not up to much on your end, but we are excited to be getting ready to release some of our very first Craftsy-exclusive patterns in the next month or so, like Picket Fence and Cutting Garden.  Stay tuned for those, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
